I put that there and I did information technology because the answers didn't mention setting fashion RGB and I notwithstanding couldn't get information technology to work. I notice that substantively unlike. What I don't detect substantively different or helpful is your comment.

The other answers didn't mention requiring RGB considering it is irrelevant. It isn't clear why yous had difficulty, simply that shouldn't accept been it. Perhaps you had an image created with an unusual color infinite that GIMP had problems with, but color infinite is not unremarkably a factor for the foreground/background tool.
